From 24 to 26 April, the public paisa will have the opportunity to live a theatrical experience intimate and touching Scenes for a journal, a stage show based on the novel View from a sidewalk the writer bogota Fernando Molano Vargas, considered to be one of the voices most authentic and sensitive of the literature queer in Colombia.
The play, directed by Daniel Galeano and with the performances of Daniel Vargas, Edward Gonzalez and Paul Stand, will be presented at the Teatro Ateneo Porfirio Barba Jacob at 7:45 p. m., and it promises to be one of the cultural events, most emotional of the season.
Scenes for a journal it portrays the love between two young people who, in the midst of a city that often gives them back, they decide to live each second as if it were the last. The story touches fibers deep in addressing issues such as HIV, discrimination, emotional resilience and the power of love without conditions. Beyond being a romantic story, it is a tribute to those who have loved you with courage, knowing that the time is short.
With a set design minimalist and a narrative full of sensitivity, the proposed Barraca Theater invites you to look beyond the social tags and to feel the pulse of a youth that struggle to be, to love and to leave a mark.
